Is the the first online Arab social network linking people who have various interests in the Middle East. We're working on version 3.0. Our goal is to bring you a better experience.
We invite you to register to take full advantage of our site. We offer an Internet Arabic Radio Station. In our database, we have over 400 Arabic Music videos. We will be advertising job feeds from respected sources catering to Arab-Americans with the Middle Easter Market including places like UAE (Dubai & Abu Dhabi), Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and more We also offer a platform for our members to display and publish their poetry. We are working on creating a book of poetry from all around the world, and we are looking for contributers.
Lastly, we are in the process of creating an onlike market place called The Sook. Please bear with us while we rebuild the site. We have full time jobs and do this on a volunteer basis. If you are interested in sponsoring the site or contribution, please feel free to contact us.

Hakim, The Lion of Egypt and his Egyptian Orchestra with special guest Karina Pasian
Saturday, July 08, 2006
From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Central Park SummerStage
This is a Free Music Event.
Known universally as ??The Lion of Egypt,? Hakim is no stranger to New Yorkers. The singer has risen to international stardom performing sha??bi, the homegrown music of Egypt??s working class.
One of the first artists to incorporate electric guitar and synthesizer into sha??bi, Hakim has gradually blended Western pop influences into his sound, collaborating with James Brown, Stevie Wonder, and Britain??s TransGlobal Underground. His 2002 album Live In Brooklyn captured the exciting and celebratory atmosphere of a Hakim concert??but there??s really no substitute for experiencing this master performer firsthand.
Does anyone not care on what is going on in Palestine? There is just more carnage and fighting going on. Are people that desensitized by all of that in that center of the region? Children and women getting killed. This travesty must be spoken about.
